Veikko Salkio´s Natural History Collection

The Nature Collection became a part of the sights of Kokkola in January 1982. It consists of the following categories: Finnish mammals and birds, horns, skulls and bones, traditional hunting culture, fossils, foreign specimens. The specimen in the collection have been collected and prepared mainly by one person, Veikko Salkio.
